Young people across the Fylde coast are being told ‘don’t suffer in silence’ as a support service is being offered every day of the year.
Lancashire County Council is reminding youngsters that Talkzone, which offers advice and support to people aged 12 to 19, is easily accessible by phone, email, text, Facebook and Twitter.
Talkzone is staffed by caring workers who are experienced in dealing with a wide range of issues affecting young people
The service, which is provided by the county council’s Wellbeing, Prevention and Early Help Service, is available between 2 and 10pm every day.
County Coun Matthew Tomlinson, cabinet member for children, young people and schools, said: “Young people don’t have to cope with their problems alone on any day of the year, as Talkzone is always available to them.
“Talkzone is staffed by caring workers who are experienced in dealing with a wide range of issues affecting young people. They’ve probably dealt with every problem and question under the sun.”
