Your Bonfire Night guide
Thousands of people are expected to attend Blackpool Cricket Club’s annual explosive extravaganza as they host their display with accompanying fairground rides and a bonfire.
The West Park Drive venue will light the bonfire at 7pm on November 5. The fireworks display at 7.45pm is expected to last for 25 minutes with Cowbell Radio DJs providing the entertainment.

Hide AdTickets cost £3 a head or £10 a family. For every ticket bought in advance for the club’s firework show, organisers will donate 50p to The Gazette’s Hospice Heroes appeal.
And for every family ticket £1 will come to us.
Advance tickets are available from the club at Stanley Park from 4.30pm on weekdays and from noon at the weekend.
In Wyre, families can attend a bonfire and display at Cottam Hall playing fields, on Blackpool Old Road, Poulton, from 6pm on November 5.
Wyre Council’s Fleetwood Fireworks Extravaganza at the Marine Hall, also on November 5, is a combined effort between Fleetwood Rotary Club, Lancashire Police, Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and Regenda.

Hide AdComedy comes courtesy of members of the Bread and Butter Theatre Company, who will be compering the evening’s events in cunning disguise, and Musical Ruth, a nun with a magical mobile piano.
Coun Lynne Bowen, cabinet member with responsibility for events at Wyre Council, said: “It’s wonderful the Marine Hall is hosting this hugely successful community event; the gardens will provide a fabulous natural setting I’m sure.
“I’m delighted we’ve been able to add music and comedy to the line up and hope that everyone has an enjoyable night.”
Gates open at 5.30pm with live music starting at 6pm and the fireworks display at 7.30pm. It is free to attend, however donations are encouraged.

Hide AdSouth Fylde is also gearing up for a big night of explosions with two displays organised.
St Annes Cricket Club, on Highbury Road East, will feature a bonfire, fireworks and funfair rides.
And Lytham Round Table is to host their annual display at Fylde Rugby Club, on Blackpool Road, starting at 7.30pm.
