For the first time in its history, Lytham Festival will be hosting its very own online TV channel – LF:TV - throughout the week-long event.

LF:TV will broadcast from venues throughout Lytham from August 1 to 7 keeping both festival and music fans up-to-date on all the latest backstage gossip and interviews with artists.

North West TV entertainment reporter Caroline Whitmore will host LF:TV but she needs a co-presenter - and that position is available to someone aged between 18 and 25. Could it be you?

All would-be presenters need to do is record a 30-second video clip of themselves saying why they are perfect for the role, post it to Facebook tagging Lytham Festival and send it to [email protected] with their name, age and address by Monday, July 25.

Caroline, who has been ITV Granada Reports’ entertainment correspondent for 11 years, said: “I am thrilled to be hosting Lytham Festival’s first ever TV channel.

“The festival grows from strength to strength every year with this year’s line-up looking absolutely amazing. What I love about it is that it brings huge stars to Lytham every year alongside up-and-coming talent and classical recitals too.

“I really can’t wait for everything to kick-off on August 1 and to be working alongside a co-presenter who could potentially be the next big TV reporter.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for all would-be TV news and entertainment reporters and I look forward to seeing what talent is out there.”
