The draw for the first round proper takes place this evening, when the 48 EFL League One and Two clubs enter proceedings, alongside the 32 non-league qualifiers.

Fylde and Kidderminster will be ball number 50 in the draw, which will be broadcast live on BBC Two, starting around 7.15pm, as well as being shown on the official Emirates FA Cup Twitter and Facebook channels.

Nick Haughton had put the Coasters ahead by half-time, after which goals from Ashley Hemmings and Yusifu Ceesay gave the advantage to the Harriers.

However, Haughton got Fylde back on terms with his second of the afternoon, converting a free-kick via the woodwork.

As well as a place in the next stage, victory tomorrow evening will be worth £9,375 from the competition’s central prize fund, while the losers walk away with £3,125.

Whichever club progresses into round one will see that match be played over the weekend of November 5-6.

Speaking after Saturday’s stalemate, acting Fylde boss Andy Taylor told the club website: “I said to the players before the game, ‘the most important thing is to get yourself in the hat for the draw on Monday.’

“We’ve done that, not quite how we would like to do it, but we’ll just have to watch the draw, find out the next round, then go and do the job on Tuesday. That’s the aim.”
