Luton Town v Blackpool - live updates

Key Events

  • FT: Luton 3-1 Blackpool
  • Stephen Dobbie takes charge of first game
  • Seasiders seven points adrift with just six games remaining

CJ Hamilton wins Blackpool the first corner of the game.

This time it’s Luton’s turn to win a corner as Andy Lyons blocks a cross.

Luton play a long hopeful ball into the Blackpool box but Chris Maxwell is off his line well to confidently claim.

It’s been an even enough start so far.

A Morgan Rogers cross falls kindly for Andy Lyons but he can only screw his cross/shot into the side netting.

Blackpool break well with numbers spare but CJ Hamilton overhits his pass to Josh Bowler, otherwise they were in.

Allan Campbell delivers a dangerous cross in from the right but Andy Lyons does well to head clear under pressure at the back post.

Cody Drameh heads wide at the back post after a couple of crosses cause some panic in the Blackpool box.

So far it’s been promising from the Seasiders. Nothing spectacular, but they’re well in this and have a clear game plan.

Lewis Fiorini's shot from the edge of the box is straight at keeper Ethan Horvath.

Some good football in the build-up.

29 - GOAL BLACKPOOL!!! (0-1)

Andy Lyons heads home from Lewis Fiorinir's pinpoint free kick. Goal number four for the January recruit.

Blackpool have deserved that. Limited Luton to very little and have looked dangerous on the break.
