Steven Pressley's men dominated the first half but couldn't find a breakthrough as they were tested by both Bradford and the conditions.

On a ploughing contest pitch, in swirling wind and snow, Fleetwood simply couldn't find the chances to match their fine box to box play.

The hosts offered little - the weather improving after the break, their rough, tough brand of football still questionable.

Fleetwood broke the deadlock on the hour, referee Kevin Wright ordering a bizarre free kick near the centre circle as Fleetwood looked to be breaking forward.

Jimmy Ryan floated the ball into the box, Jamille Matt rising as Bradford stopped dead, his glancing header rolling into the bottom corner.

Fleetwood knew they would have to weather a different kind of storm in the closing stages.

But Bradford lifted the Valley Parade crowd as Town first buckled and then broke.

The visitors had been struggling to clear their lines when a ball zipped in from the right, James Hanson darting to the back post and heading home from close range.

Town had been caught napping for just a moment, their hard work in grabbing the lead undone.

The visitors were worth three points and had chances to take them - sub Bobby Grant nearly bamboozling Ben Williams with a low shot to the near post, Antoni Sarcevic almost barging through the entire Bantams back line, only to be halted as he tried to pull the trigger.

But that win still eludes Steven Pressley's men, Bradford snatching it at the death.

There had already been one let off when Chris Maxwell spilled Tony McMahon's free kick.

And the sucker punch came three minutes into added time, Kyel Reid surging down gthe right beating Maxwell but hitting the bar, sub Steven Davis following in to smash the ball home and secure the points for the Bantams.
