The Saddle started the stronger but couldn’t beat Andy Speight in the Budd goal. The hosts grew stronger as the first half wore on but found Jamie Cook in the other goal in top form too.
Budd’s Danny Morris finally broke the deadlock on 72 minutes and then Tarren Moxon put the game beyond doubt with five minutes left as the game ended 2-0.

AFC Rangers drew 1-1 with Appletree Finance, with Martin Ireland netting for Rangers and Connor Williams cashing in for Finance.
David Ramsden and James Butler scored a brace each as Exceptional Kitchens beat Kingsfield 5-2 to progress to the Gledhill Cup semi-final.
Adam Zyda was also on target, while Slavek Perz and John Whittle replied.

Hide AdThe top two also went head to head in division one and it was the leaders, FC Shovels who edged out Anchorsholme in a seven-goal thriller.
Paul Gaskell scored a hat-trick and Aaron Fleming was also on target, with Giovanni Tamburello, Daniel Smith and Scott Thompson replying.
Andrew Duckworth scored two and Zak Singleton and Joe Caton also registered goals as Belle Vue beat Wyre 4-2.
Nathan Rutherford and Matty Grime scored two each and Reece Russell added the other as AFC Lane Ends Blackpool beat FC Highfield 5-0.

In division two, the result of the day went to The Bridge as they finally ended Broomhead Estate Agency’s 100 per cent record with a 4-3 win courtesy of goals from Kyle Nixon, David Whyte, Simon Annetts and Jason Nuttall. Broomhead’s scorers were Jack Gaffikin, Jordan Finlayson and Danny Green.
A Jack Hayton hat-trick and goals by Lee Grundy (2), Jack Porter (2), Mitch Hadgraft, Dom Ritchie, Billy Dollin and Christopher Daws gave leaders BES Utilities an 11-2 win at Westview, for whom Kyrone Edwards and Robert Renton replied.

And finally in the Berrys Beds Division Two Cup, FC Albion’s Michael Crossland scored a hat-trick to set his team up to a 7-0 victory over Metrostars.
Nitisat Sirisom, Stephen Caldwell, Dave Palmer and Michael Rose completed the scoring.
