Fylde coast amateur football: Wrens and Additions setting the pace

AFC Additions lead the way with two wins out of two in the Bathroom Solutions Blackpool and Fylde Sunday Football Alliance.

Goals from Ashley Robinson(2), Dean Richards and Nathan Hine gave them a 4-0 premier division win at Broomheads Estate Agency.

Additions are top on goal difference after Bloomfield Brewhouse also made it six points out of six by edging out FC Rangers 3-2.

Their goals came courtesy of Liam Orr, Chris Glynn and Paul Gaskell. Ryan Bradley and Kieran Fairnie replied.

There was a brace each for Tyler Atack and Ryan Tanser as FC Shovels shared 10 goals with Appletree Finance

Luke Robinson helped himself to four in the 5-5 draw and Scott Anderson scored the other for Appletree.

Simon Williams also scored four and Kyle Hendry helped himself to a hat-trick as Exceptional Kitchens beat The Saddle 7-5.

Brad Gill(2), Danny Morris, Wayne Maden and Jordan Smith replied for Saddle.

21st Century Windows beat Blackpool South 6-2 thanks to a Connor Pendergast hat-trick, Matthew Jones’ brace and a David Giles strike.

Jordan Foster and Jordan Grimshaw replied.

Leaders E and P Publications are currently the only team with two wins out of two in division one.

That’s after Ahern Playforth and Ellis Tortely scored in their 2-1 win over Ma Kellys Showboat

Daniel Smith scored for Anchorsholme and Danny Jones was on target for second-placed Station Lytham as those teams drew 1-1.

Liam Dowell scored a hat-trick as New Albert beat The Layton Pub 5-1.

Luke Noble and Scott Salanki were also on target and Karl McLeod replied for Layton.

Matty Grime and Jack Yates scored as AFC Lane Ends Blackpool beat Highfield Social 2-0.

McNaughtons are the early pace setters in division two after Simon Annetts scored five in their second successive win, a 7-4 goal-fest against King Edward.

Joe Caton and Martin Ireland were also on target for the leaders, while Ryan Willetts(2), Jordan Ratcliff and Rob Heritage replied.

Boars Head opened their account for the season as they also hit seven against Marshall Court.

Alex Prejmereanu scored two, with further goals from Chris Bardsley, Mark Dorrans, Liam Stephens, Ryan Searle and Will Metcalf in the 7-3 success.

Stuart Hammond(2) and Lee Fleetwood were the scorers for Court.

A hat-trick for Sam Montgomery and two goals by Eddie Burke ensured that George were 5-2 winners over Wrea Green, with Jackson Ashworth and Josh Williams replying.

And finally, Jason Lee (2), Stephen Collins, Michael Morcombe and Chris Danson scored the Kirkham Town goals in their 5-3 win over FC Layton Seniors.

West Lancashire League leaders Blackpool Wren Rovers head to Hesketh Bank on Tuesday bidding to stretch their unbeaten start to six.

Wrens made it four wins out of five in the premier division as they followed last Tuesday’s 5-1 home win over Fulwood Amateurs with a 3-0 success at Burscough Richmond on Saturday. All the weekend goals came in the second half through Jordan Wood, Ollie Crolla and Carl Eastmond.

Third-placed Garstang also go into an away fixture tomorrow, at Slyne-with-Hest, after two wins in five days.

They followed a 3-0 win at Burscough Richmond with Saturday’s 4-0 home victory over Turton, in which Ric Coar scored early. Matt Poole and Ryan Dodd put Gartstang three up at half-time and Jake Salisbury added a late fourth.

Thornton Cleveleys couldn’t build on their first win of the season, 6-2 at Southport Hesketh, where Oliver Wilkinson scored twice in each half. They went down 2-1 at Vickerstown on Saturday and visit Fulwood Amateurs on Tuesday.

Division One leaders Poulton put their 100 per cent record on the line at home to Hawcoat Park tomorrow. Win number five was a 3-1 at previously unbeaten Milnthorpe and followed a 4-1 victory at Lytham Town.

Max Landless scored the only goal of the first half at the Corinthians and Jonny Airey doubled the lead after the break. Milnthorpe pulled one back from the spot but Nick Webster secured the points.

Landless had scored twice at Lytham to pull Poulton clear after the first half ended 1-1.

Lytham picked up only their second point of the campaign with a 1-1 draw at Fulwood Amateurs Reserves on Saturday and go in search of their first win at Wyre Villa on Tuesday.

Wyre picked up a second win on Saturday as Elliot Pond scored two first half-goals in the 4-0 home win over Mill Hill St Peter’s. Matt Gardner had given them a first-minute lead and Zach Crosbie completed the scoring.
