Jonny on the spot and raring to go for Fylde tonight

Jonny Smith aims to keep his place in AFC Fylde’s side at Barrow tonight and for the rest of the season after helping the Coasters to return to winning ways against FC Halifax Town on Good Friday.
The clash with the Cumbrians has been put back a day after the intended Easter Monday fixture fell victim to a waterlogged pitch.
And the Coasters head to Holker Street full of confidence after Smith’s goal set them on their way to a 2-0 home win over Halifax on Friday.
The on-loan Bristol City winger hasn’t managed to hold down a regular starting spot but hopes his seventh goal of the season – a cross which evaded everyone to find the corner of the net – will help him to do so.
Smith said: “I was delighted with the win and it was great to get another goal too.
“It was probably a bit lucky but I’ll definitely take it because it was vital to get the three points.
“In all honesty my goal was a cross, but if they go straight in, it’s happy days.
“We want to finish in the play-offs. That’s the aim and has been for a while now. Every point matters now and that was massive.
“I came here to get experience and I’ve played a lot of football, so I’m grateful to the gaffer for that.
“Hopefully I can continue to do that until the end of the season and chip in with a few more assists and goals.”
Fylde’s match at Barrow was one of four postponed in the National League.
The Coasters lost no ground in the play-off race and remain two points behind seventh-placed Dover Athletic, who lost 2-1 at Ebbsfleet and have now played a game more than Fylde.
However, Ebbsfleet’s win means they are now only two points behind Fylde with a game in hand.
Tonight’s match kicks off at 7.45pm.
