New signing Taylor says Blackpool do not belong in League Two
Blackpool boss Gary Bowyer has just snapped up the out of contract Walsall left back this afternoon on an initial one year deal with an option of a further year.
The 30-year-old defender made 160 appearances in a four year spell with the Saddlers and featured 39 times last season as Walsall finished third in League One as Blackpool toiled at the other end of the table.

He told the club website: “I’ve been in for a couple of days and the lads are buzzing to start getting this club going back in the right direction. You look around the stadium and it’s not a stadium or club that belongs in League Two. It’s an exciting challenge for me personally.”
Manager Gary Bowyer first coached his fourth summer signing Taylor in the youth setup at Blackburn Rovers and is delighted to be reunited again.
Taylor spent a three-game loan spell at Blackpool in 2006, before making permanent switches from Blackburn to Tranmere Rovers and Sheffield United.
