Youth football match of the week: Foxhall Hoops U13 v Lytham Blues
On a day the wet weather disrupted the Blackpool and District Youth League programme, our thanks to both clubs for stepping in at the last minute and serving up an exciting match of the week in the U13 Alpha Silver division.
And striker Satchell was certainly on fine form for our photographer, scoring early, racing to yet another hat-trick and adding a fourth before half-time as Foxhall changed ends 4-1 to the good.

Hide AdCredit to Lytham for keeping their heads high and coming back strongly in the second half, when they added a further two goals, despite the unstoppable Satchell netting his fifth.
All Satchell’s goals were clinically finished, though he saved the best until last – a perfect drive over the keeper’s head from outside the area.
It was the ideal response to six successive defeats for Foxhall, who hope this result will serve as a turning point and restore the winning form with which they started the season.
Lytham are still searching for their first win but can take comfort from their three goals and determined never-say-die attitude.

Hide AdEryk Zogo scored two of their goals, the testing conditions not preventing him from using his electric pace to devastating effect.
Ben Baines scored the other as both sides made light of the heavy pitch to play some attractive football.
Manager Wayne Ruddy was critical of his Foxhall side’s second-half display but was delighted with the victory as players were forced into unfamiliar positions. James Knight earned special mention for moving back into the heart of defence.
Boss Ruddy said: “It was a really good win but we did take our foot off the gas in the second half. Everyone wanted to score and players were getting greedy.”

Hide AdLytham boss Paul Wright wasn’t too downhearted and remains hopeful that elusive first win isn’t far away. He said: “It’s all about enjoying it, which my players do and they always give 100 per cent.
“It was a bit of a grind in the conditions but it was still a good game. Our players’ heads could have dropped but they kept going.”
Satchell was an obvious man of the match for Foxhall, while Eryk Zogo took the Lytham award. He scored two goals and helped to lay on the third.
