They have toured all over England including the Lake District and Devon, with their last gig being at the festival Longton Live, which took place just outside of Preston.

Their band features eight musicians who play a mixture of rock, soul and blues.

Nigel said: “There’s normally seven of us singing and we also feature guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and saxophone. Music has been a constant companion on my journey through life and I’m grateful for all those people who supported and encouraged me when I was starting out playing.”

The Yard Dogs last played in the area five years ago and would both like to catch up with anyone who remembers them from their time in the town.
