There are few - if any - tickets left. Normal tickets have sold out, but any remaining weekend tickets will be broken down and sold for the night on Friday from the Festival ticket office in Lytham Piazza.

The duo, made up of Dominic Ferris and Martin Milnes, offers an eclectic and packed musical programme including Broadway and Hollywood favourites plus pop classics, which will have theatre lovers dancing in the aisles.

Ferris and Milnes said: “We’re delighted to be moving our performance to an even bigger venue to allow more people the chance to see the show.

“The line-up for West End Proms is incredible and we’re looking forward to opening the show with our very own brand of frolicsome frivolity.”

Performing a 30-minute set all presented with Ferris & Milnes’ ‘banteriffic’ comedy style, the opener should have audiences laughing their socks off.

Described as “hilarious” by The Telegraph, West End Frame commented that Ferris and Milnes are “the most exciting musical theatre double act to be discovered in years”.

The duo blend comedy, music and vocals in a dynamic cocktail of explosive Broadway glamour and fun.

Lytham Festival Director Peter Taylor added: “We’re incredibly excited to have Ferris and Milnes opening the show at the West End Proms.

“Their musical theatre and comedy mash-up style is the perfect addition to the line-up on the night and we’re sure that people are going to love it.

“This will be their only performance to date in the north of England this year which makes it even more special.”

The duo are the first act on the traditional Last Night of the Proms, which will see the week-long festival close as a string of West End and Broadway stars including Miss Saigon star Lea Salonga, star of Les Miserable and Phantom of the Opera Ramin Karimloo, musical theatre group Collabro, Olivier Award winner Ruthie Henshall, Chicago star Claire Sweeney, Blackpool musical theatre star Jodie Prenger and Lytham-born rising West End star Lucie-Mae Sumner all take to the stage.

The traditional night sees those attending take along their own seating and picnics - but as ever, umbrellas will not be permitted.
