Tom Jones to make Fylde return for debut at brand new festival Wonderhall at Lytham Hall in August

Sir Tom Jones is making a return to Lytham for the debut of the town’s newest music festival Wonderhall at the historic Lytham Hall, this summer.

The Welsh icon, 80, is just one in a series of big stars to announce his appearance at the six-day event.

Also featuring in the line up is pop-favourite and fellow The Voice coach and mentor Anne-Marie, English reggae and pop band UB40, featuring Ali Campbell and Astro, new wave artist Marc Almond and Jools Holland with his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra.

Russell Watson had already been confirmed by music promoters Cuffe and Taylor for the Last Night of the Proms concert on Sunday August 29.

The inaugural music festival will open on Wednesday August 25 when chart-topping singer songwriter Anne-Marie makes her debut in the Fylde and finishes with a musical spectacular on Bank Holiday Monday with Jools Holland, Gilson Lavis and special guest Eddi Reader,with guest vocalists Ruby Turner, Louise Marshall, Marisha Wallace and Lytham St Annes Shanty Crew.

Other supporting acts across the six-day Wonderhall, which will be take place in the grounds of the Grade I listed hall, include HRVY, SKAFACE, The Brand New Heavies and The Real Thing. There are more than 30 acts on the bill.

“We have a fantastic mix of artists across the six days from the world-famous legend that is Tom Jones to supporting the Lancashire music scene by having some local artists on the bill too.

All money from ticket sales for the Last Night of the Proms event headlined by Russell Watson will be donated towards the continued restoration of Lytham Hall.
