Fleetwood Rhythm and Blues Club are promoting their August gig on Friday at the Royal Oak on Lord Street.
Providing the entertainment are Liverpool outfit the Wayne Carrick Band.
Fronted by experienced frontman, guitarist and vocalist Wayne Carrick, this will be the band’s third appearance at Deaduns.
The band perform regularly at festivals and venues throughout the northwest and have earned a reputation for putting on a terrific show.
the band perform a range of classic covers in the blues/rock gentree with several Eric Clapton covers prominent in the set list.
Friday’s audience can look forward to hearing covers of I Shot the Sheriff, Wonderful Tonight, Badge, Knocking on Heaven’s Door and the classic the Thrill is Gone.
In addition to frontman Wayne Carrick, other band members include Matt McGory (ex Jools Holland) on lead guitar, Phil Escott on the drums and bassist Dave Linley.
Admission to the gig is free and the music starts around 9:30pm.
